Please take a look at our latest CQC Report.Our Mission Statement:Tonna Care Services Ltd shall provide services to adults and Children with learning difficulties some who may have challenging behaviour. These services may include support work and assistance with day to day activities, including personal care.The Range of services users for whom care is provided includes:•Older people•People with Dementia•Adults/Youths/children with Mental health problems•Adults/Youths/children with Learning disabilities•Adults/Youths/children with sensory impairment•Adults/Youths/children with HIV/aids•Adults/Youths/children with Autism•Adults with terminal illness•Adults who are recovering from illness•Adults/Youths/children with other specific needs/rehabilitationServices Supplied: -Tonna Care Services Ltd supply temporary support workers and senior support workers all who have experience and training in caring for people including children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, including autism and people with mental health problems. All staff are Enhanced DBS and POVA/POCA checked by Tonna Care Services Ltd and we are a Registered Body for the Disclosure Barring Service Specialist Task:-There are aspects of the service that we provide which require our carers to be trained specifically to undertake such task. The care worker will be trained in the procedure before performing the task with the service user, and a trainer with relevant qualifications will sign a form to indicate that the care worker has completed the training and is competent in undertaking the task.Task requiring specialist training include:Assisting with artificial feeding (except medication)Catheter care – changing bags, monitoring outputAssistance with eye or ear dropsLleostromy and colostomy care – Changing bagsCare workers will NOT undertake tasks that require the skills and expertise of clinical professionals, such tasks include:Toe and nail cuttingEar SyringingRemoving or replacing urinary cathetersBowel EvacuationBladder WashoutsInjections – involving assembling syringes, administering intravenously controlled drugsFilling of oxygen cylindersLifting from the floor unaidedTracheotomy care – changing tubesSkin prick test for diabeticsAny invasive procedures
